No problems, and being able to run it off the car charger is a terrific plus. One month in, and giving us all we could ask for.
Don't waste your money on this one. It's going back tomorrow (thank goodness I saved the receipt) and I'll try a different brand. The player, aside from being dead, felt very lightweight and poorly-made. I bought this at Target today, and it was DOA- dead on arrival. I brought it home, plugged it in, and it wouldn't even turn on.
dvd bulky, not much futures, very simple. But I needed it and theprice fits my poket.Thank you.
The sound quality was lacking unless I plugged in headphones. The picture of a higher-quality DVD was satisfactory without tilting the screen. The screen can be tilted back all the way to lay flat.
I decided to buy a cheap portable DVD player because I needed to finish watching a DVD as soon as possible but wouldn't be able to watch it at home on my TV's DVD player, and I couldn't get my laptop to play DVDs. If it breaks down really soon, I'll deduct a star or two, but so far it seems to be a worthwhile purchase. I bought mine at Target 10 days ago.
I can see myself taking this with me on trips and plane flights, or even sneaking in a bit of movie-watching on my lunch break, or plugging in a pair of headphones and using it to listen to CDs.That said, the picture quality leaves something to be desired for some DVDs, but adjusting the angle of the screen helped. Then it became more than satisfactory. This is what you get when you use a non-mainstream OS.
Luckily, my new DVD player has worked great so far.
Chances are you will be using it. This was given to our daughter as a gift and worked fine for the first month or so. Not even six months after its first use, the audio skips like crazy near the middle to the end of a disc.If you must purchase this model, don't forget to purchase any protection plan that is available.
